In the news literally no one asked for, Aussie gossip mag New Idea is reporting that Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins is going to return to our screens as a contestant on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette.

While there’s a 99.8% chance this isn’t at all true, some “sources” are revealing Nick has flown to Europe to clear his head before entering the mansion as an intruder in an effort to “right his wrongs”.

According to the unnamed source: “Nick is in a much better place now than he was a year ago, but he feels he can’t move forward without righting his wrongs. He’s reached out to a lot of the girls [from his season] but none of them want a bar of it, so he feels this is the only option left to clear his name and show his true colours.”

There was even a second source who popped up and said Angie would be “thrilled” at the potential addition of Nick.

“They both love to laugh and don’t take themselves too seriously – not to mention she was a huge fan of Nick during his time on The Bachelor so she will be thrilled when he walks in.”

Nick recently did an interview with Stellar magazine in a bid to clear the air after his controversial season of The Bachelor.

Nick talked about his struggle filming the show and how he once even took off to avoid producers, desperately seeking a moment of downtime.

“I just took off into the bush. And I went there for hours and hours. I remember stripping off to my undies and laying on a rock and I said a couple of prayers … I asked whoever was listening, ‘Help. Give me some guidance and give me some energy’. Because I was fading. My soul was going dark,” he told the magazine.

While it seems unlikely the Honey Badger would go back to a show that he found so challenging, stranger things have happened.
