We’ve had a mere week without any Bachy drama, but already we’re back and desperate for more! Tonight The Bachelorette premiered and we resumed our twice weekly ritual of judging singles on TV.

Surprisingly, the guys this season seem…OK? Even, dare I say…great? There’s a good mix of backgrounds and the chosen men appear to be there for the right reasons, well except maybe that knob dressed as Cupid.

As far as chemistry goes, there were some sparks flying. Elly clearly had her sights set on Frazer and Harry, while Becky was thirsting over Shannon — and no one can blame her. Aside from potential hubbies, there are quite a few quirky characters to keep us entertained this season so fingers crossed this year’s bunch of blokes bring drama.

Let’s go through tonight’s messy episode via funny tweets, OK? OK!

Tonight’s The Bachelorette premiere retold in hilarious tweets:

We’re back and we’re meeting our new Bachelorettes: sisters and country gals Elly and Becky.

Sam is first and brings a bunch of balloons. He seems to impress Becky. Frazer then saunters in and Elly is thirsty for him.

AB danced his way on to the rose petal carpet, before some dude dressed as Cupid arrived to creep out the women.

Shannon’s haka got Becky’s attention, before Elly had a blast from the past with Joe arriving — a dude she had previously dated.

As Elly and Becky arrived at the cocktail party, Osher introduces the first ‘country rose’ which will be awarded to one man, and he can pick another dude for the double date. Harry gets picked and Cupid is livid.

The boys find out that Joe had previously dated Elly and they lose their minds.

Harry interrogates the fellas to make sure he doesn’t pick anyone who is interested in Elly and in the end chooses Shannon.

At the rose ceremony, AB rejects Becky rose and Nick and Samuel are left roseless. Justice for dolphin-lover, Samuel!
