YIKES: Two Of The Bachelors Have Already Split From Their Winners

The Bachelors has been anything but a conventional season of reality TV. From casting three men in a role usually occupied by one, to the entire season being insatiably horny, the 2023 season has kept us guessing from the very beginning.

And in keeping with the season’s tendency to break convention, it looks like most of the Bachelors have not ended up finding love. That’s right, two out of the three Bachys have since split with their winners. Yikesaroo.

On Sunday’s finale, Felix Von Hofe chose Jessica Navin, Jed McIntosh proposed to Alésia Delaney (she said no lol), and Thomas Malucelli proposed to Leah Cummings. But who actually ended up together??

Let’s find out!

Which The Bachelors winning couples are still together?

Felix and Jessica

In a shock to no one who watched this season, Felix and Jess did not last the distance. “I really loved my time with Felix in those moments… it just wasn’t enough to be like yep, I want to get engaged or this is 100 percent my person,” Jess told 10Play.

Felix cited long-distance and the lengthy time between the finale and the show airing for the reason the couple parted ways. “It was tough,” Felix said. “I’ve been in a long-distance relationship in the past and it’s incredibly strenuous because if you feel strongly about someone, you want them to always be around you. With us, we didn’t know when the show was going to air or what was going to happen.”

Jess went one step further by adding that she also had issues with Felix’s communication style. “I think Felix has a lot of great qualities,” Jess began. “As someone who really values communication and who loves a good D&M, I felt like Felix and I had very different perspectives on what that would look like, and we just kind of lacked that communication,” she continued.

“We were on different levels in that sense and it inevitably did naturally fizzle out. I still have care for him and I truly want the best for him and I will always want to be there for him as a friend.”

Felix reckons that he and Jess are on amicable terms now. “We’re still on great terms, we’re still incredibly close and we’ve chatted throughout the process.”

Thomas and Leah

Thomas and Leah both confirmed on Instagram on Monday morning that they had called off their engagement and ended their romantic relationship.

And in even more grim news, Thomas and Leah only dated for a handful of months. “I think it was two or three months after the finale,” Thomas told 10Play. “We spent incredible moments together on the show and also after the show… but we realised, spending time together, we had lots of love and care for each other but we weren’t compatible and compatibility is so important.

“We made the decision to stay friends, to still support one another but obviously go our different routes finding love.”

Leah admitted that ending the engagement hit her hard. “I’m devastated to this day I didn’t get what I wanted from it, but I also found so much more from it,” she said.

“I love who I am now, I can look at myself in the mirror like damn Leah you should be so proud of yourself. I gave something a go and I didn’t hold anything back,” Leah said.

“I didn’t want to leave that experience and think I didn’t show him everything that I was because, at the end of the day, I don’t want someone to be with me just to make me happy, I want someone to be with me because I make them happy as well.”

Jed and Alesia

In (slightly) happier news, Jed and Alesia are still dating… well, kind of.

“Me and Alesia are in a really good place,” Jed told 10 Play. “We’re taking it day by day and are excited to actually just have a coffee with each other and live a normal life after this.”

Jed and Alésia hadn’t seen each other since the finale so have had to keep the spark alive through communication. “We’ve had to hold a relationship together by phone and text,” Alésia said. “To not have actually gotten out to have a coffee with someone is so odd in a dating sense. It’ll be good that we can actually go out and do that and see what it’s like to be with each other in a normal setting.”

Alésia shared a post about the finale where she wrote something rather curious. “Regardless of what capacity we are in, I am lucky to be doing this thing called life with you in it,” she posted. What capacity? Does this mean they’re not actually dating?

Alésia is just taking her relationship with Jed day by day. “We haven’t seen each other for this long… it’s something that we’re not coming out saying yeah, we’re together. We just want to be together in a real setting and see where it goes from there and if it does flourish into something more.”

So umm, I guess the only remaining Bachelors couple are just hanging out and seeing where it goes?!

This ain’t the love story we expected but alas, it’s the love story that low-key makes the most sense for this shitshow of a season.
