Meet The First Bunch Of ‘The Bachelors’ Ladies Fighting Over The Fellas

The Bachelors is mere weeks away from debuting which means we’re starting to be introduced to the ladies set to occupy our minds and hearts this season.

The upcoming season will be the first of its kind with three Bachelors at the helm: wellness influencer Thomas Malucelli, basketballer Felix Von Hofe, and muso Jed McIntosh. This means that even more contestants than usual have been cast with each Bachelor dating a different batch of women.

And we’ve got the names of three of these women with Channel 10 dropping intro packages for some of the contestants.

First up is Leah who will be dating Thomas this season. She sums up her approach to dating as being someone who is an “old-school romantic in a hook-up culture” who “believes finding love is the missing piece to my puzzle.”

She’s keen on Thomas, describing him as “everything I’m looking for”. After their date, Thomas is left in tears which is confusing but maybe a good/bad thing.

Tbh, I know if I’m left crying at the end of a date it’s usually because my date unmatched me while I went to the bathroom.

Next up is Jessica who is dating Felix and also crying. While in the promo Felix seems head-over-heels, Jessica sobs through tears, “I’m just feeling a little bit unsure at this stage.” The confession is framed as some big “secret” that Jessica is guarding.

And finally we have Krystal who goes on some kind of body painting art installation date with Felix where she commands that he ‘gets his kit off’. By the end of the trailer, Krystal has declared “He’s already my husband” and rebrands herself as “Mrs. Felix” and who am I to disagree.

The Krystal promo is noteworthy as it features one of the most heartfelt exchanges I’ve ever heard on any reality dating show:

Krystal: “You’re hot!”

Felix: “Am I? So are you!”

Krystal: “Stop!”

Pure poetry.

We expect to meet more contestants in the coming days. Hopefully, somebody dates Jed because our boy is seriously deprived of dates at this stage.

The Bachelors kicks off on January 9 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
