The Foo Fighters Have Made An Official Announcement About The Band’s Future

After weeks of rumours and Dave Grohl‘s solo performance at The Oscars, all the talk was that the Foo Fighters were planning to call it quits and Grohl would be going solo.

Finally addressing the rumour, The Fooeys have released an ‘Official Band Announcement’ video.

Chyeahhhh! Thankfully they’re not actually getting former 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey to step in as front-man and Dave Grohl has no intention of giving into making simplistic glam-pop at the touch of a button. Their ‘major announcement’ did make for a pretty hilarious video though.

The band seemed to love milking it, posting online that they would be making a major announcement earlier this week. They certainly fooled the world’s media (including us).

Now we can put the rumours to bed – Rock on, guys!
