After two years of waiting, one of Netflix’s most anticipated sequels The Kissing Booth 2 dropped over the weekend.
The new movie reunites viewers with Elle and Noah, who are still dating despite Noah studying at Harvard and Elle still attending high school. Elle has to decide whether to follow Noah to Harvard next year or go to Berkley with her bestie Lee, and things get even more complicated when new school hottie Marco comes onto the scene. If you enjoyed the first movie, you will probably love the follow-up. If, like me, you cringed over the original then the sequel covers a lot of the same ground.
The movie ends on a massive cliffhanger and within days of the sequel’s release, Netflix already confirmed that The Kissing Booth 3 will drop in 2021 — so it looks like we haven’t seen the last of Elle and Noah.
