Yep, They’ve Made A Third ‘The Kissing Booth’ Movie & Here Is The Trailer
Now here’s a Netflix franchise I completely forgot about until this morning. The Kissing Booth film trilogy does indeed exist and a trailer for the third and final movie (creatively titled) The Kissing Booth 3 has just dropped.
The Joey King and Jacob Elordi led romance will pick up where the second instalment left off. After Elle (King) fell for her best friend’s brother Noah (Elordi) when they smooched at the kissing booth, they soon found out that dating beyond high school wasn’t easy. The Kissing Booth 2 ended with Elle having to face the decision of going a college on a different side of the country to where Noah went to school. The final film kicks off during the summer before college starts, as Elle still feels torn between joining Noah at Harvard (what, like it’s hard?) or following her bestie, Lee, to Berkeley.
Since the first movie, Elordi’s fame has skyrocketed, he’s become a verified Hollywood hunk and nabbed a leading role in HBO’s Euphoria. King’s career has also gone from strength to strength, as she’s been cast in disturbing crime miniseries The Act, along with thrillers like The Lie and Slender Man.
Who would have thought that a nonsensical and cringe-worthy teen romance could launch two of today’s biggest young stars? The sheer power of The Kissing Booth.
The Kissing Booth 3 drops August 11 on Netflix.
