Last night’s premiere of The Masked Singer brought some real chaotic energy back to our screens. I may never recover from the vision of Puppet and while I don’t know who the hell would dress up like pure nightmare fuel, fans were quick to decide that Dragonfly was very likely Sophie Monk.

Not convinced? These were the clues for Dragonfly revealed last night:

“Why am I the Dragonfly? Because I’m always on the move stopping briefly then moving again. But that is my reality. Am I a triple threat? Quadruple? Quintuple? Dragonflies aren’t a threat to anybody. I just want the world to be a kinder place.

“It could be hard to have my voice heard above the crowd, but I always found a way. Being well known isn’t always wonderful. I’ve had my share of tumbles in life and they can be embarrassing in a lot of ways. But you just have to laugh and move on. After all, it’s not a disaster like The Titanic. What do I want to be when I grow up? I don’t think Dragonflies ever grow up. But right at this moment, I want to win The Masked Singer. I live my life openly but I can’t be responsible for what other people say.”

Just going to say it: all the clues clearly point to Sophie. The mention of “reality” could allude to reality TV and her gig on The Bachelorette or first finding fame on Popstars. While saying she’s a “triple” or “quadruple” threat is a nod to the fact Sophie has experience as a singer, dancer, actor, reality star, radio presenter, the list goes on!

In terms of embarrassing “tumbles in life” this could be referencing her falling while skiing with ex Stu Laundy, or more symbolically the fact that she and her chosen Bachelorette winner only lasted mere months. Then she randomly mentions The Titanic and one eagle-eyed viewer on Twitter noted that Sophie’s audition song for Popstars was ‘My Heart Will Go On’.

The clues are all perfectly falling into place.

Fans of The Masked Singer are confident that Dragonfly simply has to be Sophie Monk:

IT HAS GOT TO BE HER.

If Dragonfly’s next song isn’t ‘Poison’ by Bardot, we riot.
