The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 trailer just dropped and judging by the teaser, it is going to be jam-packed with drama, fights, tears, and it’s just everything I need to get me through this massive The Bachelor drought.

In case you missed the last season of RHOSLC, a lot of shit went down. Most notably was Jen Shah being arrested (in an episode!) and charged with conspiring to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Mary Cosby, who will not be returning to Season 3, was accused of being a cult leader. And things got real tense on the season finale when Lisa Barlow was overheard bad-mouthing her longtime bestie, Meredith Marks.

And it looks like Season 3 is going full throttle into the drama, and we’re here for it. The new season will see the return of Lisa, Meredith, Jen, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose and a bunch of new faces, including Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Harrington and Angie Katsanevas.

Watch the trailer below for Season 3 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City:

Right off the bat, what the hell happened to Heather’s eye? One of the first shocking shots of the trailer shows Heather’s black eye that’s completely swollen.

Later on in the trailer, Lisa says that Heather’s eye looks like someone had “clocked it”, and shockingly Heather replies “maybe someone did.” The camera then zones in on Meredith, suggesting that she could be the reason for Heather’s injury. Yikes.

Another major takeaway involves Whitney getting candid about her traumatic childhood, and it’s completely heartbreaking. She cries and almost has a breakdown as she delves deep into her childhood trauma. In a following scene, Whitney tells the rest of the housewives that she was “in a very abusive situation,” in her younger years.

And the biggest elephant in the room (aka Jen’s fraud case) was slightly addressed in the trailer, but you know they’re definitely going to deep-dive into this throughout the season.

In the trailer, Jen blamed her assistant Stuart Smith for her alleged crimes. “I got played,” Jen said. “I would not be in this thing at all if it wasn’t for Stuart.” The trailer also briefly shows the moment where Jen pleaded guilty for her charges, with paparazzi asking “Are you gonna go to jail for 11 years?”

A lot of shade was thrown around, alongside some pushing and shoving amongst the newcomers. The RHOSLC trailer is absolutely wild and I just want say a quick thank you to the editing Gods for this masterpiece because we definitely got a taste of what’s to come.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City drops on Hayu on 29 September.
