The top earning celebrities of the last year might surprise you

Forbes has just released its list of the top 100 celebrity earners, with all the figures on the list making us feel like our paycheques are accidentally missing a few zeros.

The biggest surprise for us is that only one celeb couple managed to take up two of the spots in the top 20, with another coming in at 28 and 29 respectively, cuuuuute. The latter is Jay and Bey.

Neymar, the Brazilian soccer prodigy, is the youngest on the list at number 82 with $40 million at the tender age of just 23.  On the other end of the age spectrum is Paul McCartney. Sir Paul racked in $66 million over the last year and was ranked 35th. Not bad for a 73 year old.

Not a single Aussie made the list, which was also dominated by men, who made up 84 of the 100 spots.
