Fans Reckon The Weeknd Low-Key Shaded Ex Bella Hadid In His New Song
The Weeknd has just released his new album Dawn FM and one of his new songs contains some rather spicy lyrics that appear to reference both his ex Bella Hadid and rumoured girlfriend Angelina Jolie.
The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) first met Bella in 2015 and they dated off and on until 2019. During one of the times they were off, The Weeknd famously started dating Selena Gomez. Last year, The Weeknd was papped with Angelina on several occasions, sparking rumours that they were dating.
In one of the songs on The Weeknd’s new album ‘Here We Go… Again’ he seemingly confirms his romance with Angelina, singing “Baby girl, she a movie star, I told myself that I’d never fall, but here we go again.” Brad Pitt is shaking!
But it’s another line that has fans furious with the singer. In a not-so-subtle dig possibly directed at Bella’s new art director boyfriend, Marc Kalman, he says, “Your girlfriend’s tryna pair you with somebody more famous, but instead you ended up with someone so basic, faceless. Someone to take your pictures and frame it.”
This could be referencing Kalman obviously being less famous than his supermodel girlfriend, while also taking a jab at Bella for wanting a partner who will take photos of her and frame them — suggesting she’s narcissistic. Shady!

Bella’s fans have rallied around the model, dragging The Weeknd for trying to put Bella down when she’s clearly moved on from their rocky relationship.
