We return to the house of lost and lonely boys for the ultimate filler episode of The Bachelorette Australia. As we gear up for the home-town visits tomorrow, tonight is merely a formality.

The group date kicks off with everyone involved, only Network Ten have dedicated a $0 budget. Instead Sam heads over to the pad where they pretend to cook a bunch of catered meals. A “Fun Facts” post-dinner game gets the lads up and about, but Dave is pissed off because the other guys didn’t provide fun enough facts… despite his being about smashing his own teeth out. Riiight.

Later on, Sasha and Sam get messy on a solo date, wiping paint on a canvas and creating some ‘art’ for the Stroke Foundation. Sasha paints a moustache on Sam and likes what he sees – the kiss is on. And it’s a bigg’en.

The soppy duo hit the couch to look deeply in each others eyes while Sasha talks about his mother and other relatives slapping him a lot as he was growing up. It’s all a little bit confusing, but I don’t think Sasha even knows what he’s saying, at this point he just wants another taste of that Frosty saliva.  His dreams come true when Sammy reaches in and takes another bite of her favourite man candy. It’s smooches all ’round.

Osher Andy G (#NeverForget) then majestically floats into the rose ceremony and bids farewell to Dave, who was always going to be evicted this week. There was never any suspense.

On his ride home, Dave tells us that he had so much more to show Sam and that if he had made it through another episode, he could have made it to the end. Unfortunately this contradicts everything he’s said previously in the episode.
