Adele and Green Day go together like chalk and cheese, but one genius has somehow closed the gap between the two artists’ differing styles.

Musician and Youtuber, Anthony Vincent has pulled off a flawless Americana Punk/Pop cover version of Adele’s smash hit “Hello”.

With all the trademarks of a Green Day anthem, Vincent’s performance sounds like a B-Side tune from the band’s 2004 album, ‘American Idiot.’

Due to popular demand, Vincent has since uploaded a 90’s Green Day mash-up version of the same song, tracking the Adele lyrics with the American bands’ iconic guitar riffs.

His recent uploads aren’t the first time Vincent has gained YouTube vitality, gaining a global fan base on the back of his ’10 Second Songs’ and other genre-confused videos. For example, this cover of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” in the style of American heavy metal band, Disturbed.
