A tourism video for Melbourne has emerged online, hilariously painting a picture of the city in the most grim way possible.

The disastrous Myki ticketing system, the Shane Warne statue at the MCG and the “vibrant” Docklands precinct are just a few highlights lowlights of the clip… And how about the ‘coffee culture’

Uploaded by the “How Many Stars?” team, creator Darrell Hawkins spoke to radio station 3AW and said the video was inspired by Melburnians who fuelled their desire to film it.

The amateur footage and mono-tonal narration add to the charm and humour of this gem of a parody.
