But according to a study by Scape Australia, 75% of students who live out of home and want to socialise unfortunately eat alone. They also discovered that despite the rise of delivery food services, students are still choosing to eat at home.

So if you’re looking for a unique dining experience, look no further than Scape’s TikTok Creator Cook-up, where you can socialise and try new dishes that’ll change the way you look at lunch. Trade in your basic PB and J for a delightful shumai toastie, or maybe ditch your weekly run to Subway for a homemade sweet tortellini dish.

The event will feature three of Australia’s TikTok foodie superstars including Vincent Lim, Morgan Hipworth and Priya Sharma, who will treat you to a twist on your classic Aussie lunch faves.

This includes Morgan’s unique take on pasta, serving up tortellini filled with Nutella ricotta, served with a raspberry coulis and hazelnut praline, Vincent’s ham and cheese shumai toastie topped with gold leaf, and Priya’s plant-based mash-up of samosas and stir fry. Listing all that just made my mouth water.
