Tinder has launched Date to Donate this Valentine's Day to raise money for bushfire relief.

Help Raise Funds For Bushfire Recovery Efforts By Going On A Tinder Date This V-Day

Brought to you by Tinder

Tinder has teamed up with Australian Venue Co. to create Date to Donate, so you can help raise money for bushfire relief by simply going on a date this Valentine’s Day.

Roses are so 2000-and-late, and don’t even think about heart-shaped chocolates. This V-Day, Tinder is giving us a real reason to invite that new match out on a date by raising money for bushfire relief.

If you’ve been looking for a cute way to ask someone out, Tinder’s Date to Donate is your big-ticket idea. Just invite your Tinder match on a date, treat them to a night out, and Tinder will match your spend on food and drinks in a donation to bushfire relief efforts on your behalf.

The money will go to the Firesticks Alliance Indigenous Corporation, an Indigenous-led network that teaches people how to perform cultural burning for fire and land management.

The money raised by Tinder will help heal communities who were affected by the bushfires and train more than 100 accredited cultural fire practitioners around Aus.

To make Tinder pay up, just show the bartender that you and your date matched on the app. Then Tinder will match whatever you spend on food and drink (up to the value of $100 in total) in a donation to a good cause. Plus, they’ll throw in two free drinks on arrival, up to the value of 25 dollarydoos.

Keen? Of course you are! Here’s the full list of participating venues. There’s something for everyone, from surf-side drinks at a beachfront wine bar in Manly to a pub meal in one of Brisbane’s most iconic beer gardens, or a super casual pizza with cocktails down a Melbourne lane.
