Tinder Is Making Splendour In The Grass Hookups Easier Than Ever

Tinder is about to make the dating game even easier by rolling out a feature that will allow users to meet people who are about to attend the same festival. Translation: a cheeky festival hook up is just a few swipes away.

The feature is called ‘Festival Mode’ and will debut in Australia at this year’s Splendour in the Grass, as well as at some of the world’s largest festivals across the US and UK.

The most exciting thing about Festival Mode is that it will connect festival-goers before Splendour even begins. Users can add a badge to profiles signifying their movements, which sounds like a nifty way to make friends or line up a date before heading to Byron.

Tinder Australia’s country manager Kristen Hardeman spilled on the new feature:

“Splendour is a rite of passage for Young Australians, making it the perfect playground to launch Festival Mode. With this feature, we are redefining the festival experience by enabling our users to make new connections before even stepping through the turnstiles and pitching their tents,” she said.

Festival Mode will start rolling out on Tinder in Australia from 21 June, 2019. Get ready to swipe swipe, bby. We can only pray that all our other dating app faves join in.
