Being a woman on Tinder and other dating apps is living in constant fear of receiving a message that will either get your blood boiling or be so ridiculous that all you can do is laugh.

There’s no denying that straight men send some truly cooked shit to women. I’ve been on and off the app for years and have received a range of offending material — from unprompted sexting to negging and straight-up abuse. While you can always block and report the user, it gets grating that these people think that it’s okay to speak to anyone like that… let alone a total stranger.
