The Trailer For Ch 7’s ‘Yummy Mummies’ Is Just As Cooked As The Show Sounds
With a name like Yummy Mummies, it’s no surprise that the latest offering being dished up by the evil overlords at Channel Seven has evoked a mixed sensation on the tastebuds.
We managed to snap said overlords cooking up their evil TV ploys:
The YM series trailer dropped over the weekend, introducing all the yum mums and showcasing their affluent, albeit tasteless lifestyles. The show will follow four mothers-to-be on their 9-month journey to motherhood and will star socialite Jane Scandizzo, model and TV presenter Lorinska Merrington, alongside Rachel Watts and Maria DiGeronimo.
Already the reactions have ranged from skeptical to just plain savage. A post on the network’s trailer for the show, which has received over 1k likes reads:
“And the free to air networks wonder why people are flocking to Netflix when this garbage is the best they can come up with.”
Ouch! Not so yummy. Twitter has also had a lot to say about the series – and most users are unimpressed.
Thank heaven's @channel7 has made Yummy Mummies…there just aren't enough shows in the world about horrible rich housewives #HouseRules

Most of the reactions have just targeted the entire concept rather than the yummy women. Who are surely heaps yum. Who knows? It could create TV gold, and I’ll be patiently awaiting a ‘Dishy Dads’ spinoff.
