A Very Serious Tribute To Bachy’s Ivan & His Pure Love For Dance
Tonight on The Bachelorette, our boi Ivan was sent home and he will be sorely missed. Ivan danced his way into our hearts, and then he kept on dancing, and never stopped.
The boy really likes to dance.
From literally day one, Ivan decided his biggest asset in the competition was not his looks or his personality, it was… his dance skills. And that is a power move we can all respect.
During his time on the show, he talked a lot about being in the next Step Up. In fact, Ali said she didn’t think he was ready to settle down in Australia for that very reason.
It made me wonder: is this true?
After some brief research, I found that Ivan was not part of the current franchise.
While this is sure to be a blow to his dance career, we fully believe in Ivan and wanted to celebrate all the dance moments he has blessed us with.

The very second Ivan met Ali, he wowed her with his original dance moves. Some may say, he put her under his spell like some kind of hip-shaking jedi.
Not one to keep his talents to himself, Ivan tried to share his gift with the other boys, to give them a fighting chance in their romantic pursuits of Ali.
They tried. They failed. Ivan’s dancing remained supreme.
Following the first rose ceremony, tensions between the boys was at an all time high. Who would get the first date? Who would be picked to head out for the group challenge? So many questions!
Here was Ivan:
Surviving the first rose ceremony, again the air was tense between the boys. Who does Ali like? When will Osher get to open an envelope? Just WHO will score that special second single date?
Here was Ivan:
At the group date, the men dressed as gladiators to battle it out. More questions! Who gave these blokes weapons? Could the series fit any more testosterone in one episode? Would Charlie and Bill actually murder one another?
Here was Ivan:
At an absolutely cooked cocktail party, Charlie spilled all the tea to Ali. Nathan was sent home because guilty feet have got no rhythm and Ali’s hips don’t lie.

Thanks for the memories our nation’s dancing queen.
We believe in you. Step off this Bachy train and step up to your dreams!!
