Vanessa Hudgens Made A Movie That Sounds Exactly The Same As ‘A Christmas Prince’
They say if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em, and this seems to be what Vanessa Hudgens is doing. The star has recently announced the release of her new movie that sounds suspiciously like 2017 holiday classic A Christmas Prince.
The surprise Netflix hit was a cinematic highlight of last year. I really don’t understand how it missed out on an Academy Award, but like most high art, it was probably far beyond its years.
Anyways, A Christmas Prince became nothing short of a phenomenon in 2017 and the High School Musical star has conveniently announced a new film called The Christmas Switch which…yep, sounds like a total copy.
Okay, the story isn’t exactly the same. The rough plotline will follow a Duchess & a commoner who swap places after discovering they look exactly alike. The big twist is that they both fall in love with the same dude.
It sounds a bit like The Lizzie McGuire Movie meets The Parent Trap meets every single movie starring the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, which tbh does sound like a good time.
The Christmas Switch will be released in December, just in time for the sequel to A Christmas Prince to drop on Netflix.
