Those looking to get their true-crime fix, and can’t wait for the second season of Making a Murderer, then look no further. Beware the Slenderman is a story that is still unfolding in real-time. The film follows the 2014 events of 12-year-old friends Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser who stabbed another 12-year-old 19 times to apparently appease a fictional internet meme: an online legend called Slenderman. It’s bloody dark but very intriguing.
