Finished All Those Netflix Xmas Movies? It’s Time To Start Binge-Watching VlogMAS
If, like us, you’ve realised there really IS a limit on the number of times you can rewatch Vanessa Hudgens attempting a British accent, then we may have just found the next best thing to help ease those hangovers/avoid the fam this festive season.
YouTube – the original home of cat vids and old eps of Dance Moms – also has an empire of ‘vloggers’: people who basically record clips of their days, smash ‘em together in one vid and chuck an edgy-but-royalty free music track underneath.
VlogMAS is the Christmas edition. It’s Festive Szn out here and from December 1st to the 25th, a whole heap of extra YouTubers get their vlog on.
This is homemade reality tv at its finest — v. festive, a little bit trash (in the best way) and uploaded daily so you’ll never have an excuse not to binge-watch.
Having sussed it out for a few years, here are a couple of faves to get you started.
Zoella
‘Zoella’, aka Zoe Sugg, is basically that cool girl you really wanted to hate in school but never could ‘cause she was actually super nice. Highlights include the big decorated British mansion, the cute/also famous boyfriend and a pug called Nala who likes to dabble in festive knitwear.

AlishaMarie
From the UK to the USA. When it comes to pep I’m very much on the Daria end of things but if, like me, you wanna see what life is like being ‘so EXTRA!!’, check out LA YouTuber AlishaMarie. This channel is basically Christmas Honey BooBoo AFTER the GoGo juice, ya feel?
Watch this if you like: Vicariously living in LA, having the words ‘ooh, I LOOVE’ burned into your memory.
The ACE Family
There are legit hundreds of OTT family vlogging channels out there, but the ‘ACE’ family have 14 MILLION followers and a production value to match. This family of four serves up strong Kardashian vibes.
Watch this if you like: strong to excessive use of both caps lock and exclamation marks!!!
JAKE PAUL
Let’s be real — if you’ve watched Shane Dawson’s Jake Paul series, you’d know that Jake Paul does whatever the frick Jake Paul wants, so who knows what the Team 10 Chief will deliver. But if you LIVE for drama and enjoy screaming at your screen, Jake Paul’s for you!
