It’s a tough gig for any presidential candidate, but made much more troublesome when ones gender is constantly used against them. Hillary Clinton has had to endure nearly four decades of sexism, coming into politics in an age where the mere thought of a woman being in power was a point of great contention.

Her rise from first lady, to senator and now presidential hope, has been filled with interviewers berating her with gendered terms like threatening, aggressive, overly opinionated, and lacking credibility, or only focusing on her fashion and hairstyle.

Clinton has had to deal with it all. This is perfectly demonstrated in a new video by National Memo, which has compiled together 40 years of some of the sexist questions Clinton has had to answer.

In the video, one presenter even says: “Men won’t vote for Hillary Clinton because she reminds them of their nagging wives,” adding “When Hillary Clinton speaks, men hear “take out the garbage””.

It’s an infuriating watch.
