Andrew Garfield continues his quest to charm the pants off everyone, in a recent appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

While promoting his new movie, Silence on Tuesday night, he was asked by the talk show host what was behind the spontaneous smooch between the actor and Ryan Reynolds, while Ryan Gosling received his award for ‘Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical’.

If you missed it, here’s a catch up:

Twitter predictably lost it’s shit. There was just too much handsome in one kiss.

“You had one of the most memorable moments,” Colbert remarked, adding that the pair, “stole the show.” To which Garfield responded:

“I just wanted Ryan to know that I loved him no matter whether he won or lost,” Garfield said. “It doesn’t matter. It’s how you play the game. He showed up. He gave his all. It doesn’t change anything in my heart.”

As Colbert commented that Garfield seemed comfortable kissing men, the inevitable happened. Soon enough the two were kissing as the Spider-Man star bongs on spreading the love this award season.
