WATCH: Bachy’s Leah First TV Interview Following Unceremonious Booting
The aftermath of last night’s episode of The Bachelor continues to dominate headlines today, with claims that the series slut shamed Leah, who was unceremoniously booted from the reality show last night.
Leah had already been pitted as the villain of the season, but viewers weren’t buying the idea that her previous work as a topless waitress needed to be “revealed” on national television. Add to that, Leah then outed Simone as also working in the industry.
All in all, it was just a pretty obvious (and shitty) example of slut shaming and privacy invasion, purely to boost ratings.
Now Leah’s not holding back about how she was treated. She told Studio 10 she worked as a topless waitress to pay her way through university. And she had some cutting remarks on how she’s been treated since her eviction.
“I’m a little bit disappointed by how people have kind of shamed me for it. And it is an industry. It is a valid one,” Leah said.
“To be made to feel guilty or ashamed of my past… people shouldn’t throw stones.”
