WATCH: Brad Pitt Is Legit Funny AF In Controversial Netflix Trailer ‘War Machine’
In a film that is far too relevant in the current political climate, original Netflix film ‘War Machine’ has just dropped its first full length trailer. The flick takes aim at America’s military involvement in the Middle East, with Brad Pitt leading the charge in the political satire.
From the first seconds of the trailer, it’s clear this is a comedy and is an absurdist take on the war. We meet a new side to Pitt, as the story follows his character General Glen McMahon, a man responsible for ending former President George W. Bush’s war in Afghanistan.
The movie was inspired by the book ‘The Operator:The Wild & Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan’, by late Rolling Stone journalist Michael Hastings.
To add even more incentive to catch the film, it is written and directed by Australia’s own David Michôd. It also features an A+ cast, including Tilda Swinton, Sir Ben Kingsley, Anthony Michael Hall and Topher Grace.
‘War Machine’ is coming to the streaming service on May 26 in ‘Merica, and predictably in Australia soon after.
