Get set to feels all the feels. Last night on The Project, Carrie Bickmore announced that her charity ‘Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer’ had reached a major milestone. The charity was created after Bickmore’s late-husband Greg Lange died after a battle with the cancer, and has reached its ultimate goal of raising $1 million dollars for medical research.

As Bickmore held back tears, she said:

“Because of your generosity, we have already reached our $1 million [goal]: $1.1 million.

So thank you, thank you, thank you. I am just so blown away.”

An image of Lange came up on screen during the segment, with the photo created with a collage of people wearing their beanies. It’s a tear-jerker and a testament to the strength and dedication of Bickmore- an Australian national treasure. Good on you Carrie – congrats!
