TRAILER: The First Trailer For Batman ‘The Killing Joke’ Is Here And It’s Dark AF

Get ready comic fans, the first taste of Warner Bros new Batman movie ‘The Killing Joke‘ is here today and we can hardly contain ourselves.

Written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Brian Bolland, the tale is widely considered one of the greatest comic book stories to ever feature The Dark Knight and the Joker. It’s been confirmed that the animated flick will be rated R and won’t hold back on all the best bits. This isn’t kids stuff.

Mark Hamill might be most famous for portraying Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker in the ‘Star Wars’ saga, but his work as the Joker has earned him many plaudits. It was in the 90s that Hamill first began voicing the character for ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ and he’s back for the movie.

The full movie will debut at ComicCon International in San Diego in July before hitting stores later in Aus winter and spring. Before then, we’re left drooling over 1 minute of teasing animated goodness – check out the trailer above.
