WATCH: The First Trailer For Spielberg’s ‘Ready Player One’ Is A Game Changer

Stephen Spielberg returns to the big screen for the adaptation of popular science-fiction novel ‘Ready Player One‘ in 2018. By the looks of this first trailer, it’s going to live up to all the hype.

I mean, this thing is outta control epic. I’m lost for more words to describe it.

The 2011 book written by Ernest Cline has sucked a huge cult audience into its dystopian 2044 world. The storyline follows Wade Watts as he searches for an easter egg in a virtual reality game, the discovery of which will lead him to inherit a valuable fortune in a world torn by an energy crisis. At this stage, the film has a release date for 30 March 2018, so it looks like there might be another trailer – maybe even some real world easter eggs for us to hunt – as the date gets closer.
