It’s the horror already being labelled one of the biggest spook fests of 2017… and it stars Aussie actor Joel Edgerton.

The trailer for Trey Edward Shults’ new horror film ‘It Comes at Night’ has just dropped and it looks bloody terrifying. Along with Edgerton, the film also features ‘Girls’ star Christopher Abbott and takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where characters are forbidden to go out at night.

The trailer builds from there and offers a fresh and exciting new horror concept.

Edgerton told Entertainment Weekly that he thinks the movie’s story works within a larger social framework, representing“refugees and immigration and otherness … There’s this question of whether to trust [his character] and his word”.

The film’s Australian release date is still TBA.
