WATCH: Kesha Sings An Emotive Cover Of Lady Gaga’s ‘Til It Happens To You’

Kesha has performed a tragic stripped-back rendition of Lady Gaga’s sexual assault survivor tribute ‘Til It Happens To You’ at the Human Society Gala.

The singer said before the performance:

“I want to dedicate this song to every man, woman, child and animal that has ever been abused.”

The song was from the campus sexual assault documentary The Hunting Ground and is particularly pertinent in Kesha’s case, as the singer is currently still involved in a legal battle against Dr. Luke, the producer she has accused of sexual and verbal abuse.

Watch with plenty of tissues – it’s a devastating cover of the already brutally real song. Just beautiful.

Gaga posted her love for Kesha’s tribute on Twitter.
