While the trauma from losing Hodor from Game of Thrones still feels raw, KFC are capitalising on our emotions and reviving his legacy… to sell us chicken.

Hodor’s heroic self-sacrifice to protect Bran in the latest season is still etched in our hearts. So KFC have pounced on that emotional suffering and have brought out an ad starring our beloved Hodor (who was once probably referred to as Kristian Nairn but that’s over now #Hodor4eva).
The ad features Hodor in distress, in the face of a stampeding crowd demanding chicken and fries, which is not enough of a twist to stop the emotional flashbacks to his GoT final scene. And then we remember all the feels.
At least we know that once your character is inevitably killed off GoT, it’s not the end of your career. Hodor, you hero. #NeverForget
