WATCH: Lorde Remakes Her Song ‘Greenlight’ As An Ode To Cadbury Creme Eggs
If you’re like me, this time of year means one thing: Cadbury Creme Eggs are back in supermarkets. While admittedly the eggs started to pop up the day after Christmas, it’s still a magical time of year, when I’ll commonly eat my way into a Creme Egg-coma.
Another fan of the Easter treat is Kiwi artist and all-time bae Lorde, and on a recent visit to BBC Radio, let slip her fondness for the mini chocolate egg of dreams.
“Listen, it gets to Easter time and I love to indulge in a Creme Egg, and I’ve been in America and the chocolate is not good,” said Lorde.
BBC radio jock Grimmy then set up the inevitable, reworking Lorde’s current hit ‘Greenlight’ into an ode to the Cadbury treat. With lyrics like, “I’m waiting for it, that Creme Egg, I want it,” it will speak to any die-hard fan.
