Netflix has created the TV mashup to end all TV mashups, combining two oddball series’ and making them into one.
The first is 2016 breakout sensation Stranger Things, which tells the tale of Hawkins, Indiana and the mysterious happenings that grip the town. The second is none other than Australian classic Round the Twist, a series based on Paul Jennings’ beloved books, that shaped many Aussie kids’ childhoods.
The two series do have a bunch of similarities: they both occupy a time of youth, revolve around a small town experiencing strange phenomena, and have children running wild without any form of adult.
It’s a perfect combination and will have you belting out the ‘Round the Twist’ anthem for the rest of your day. #SorryNotSorry
