WATCH: A New Kickass Ad Is Aiming To Remove The Stigma Around Periods

BREAKING NEWS: Women bleed from their vaginas.

News agencies all over the world are losing their shit about an ad for tampons this morning, praising the ‘No blood should hold us back’ campaign from UK brand Bodyform as “trailblazing” and “galvanising.”

The ad narrates that SURPRISE… women don’t just bleed from cuts and scrapes. The brand aims to break down ‘period stigma’ by showcasing female athletes powering though bloody injuries and physical limits.

It’s almost like everyone only just realised that women are strong-ass motherfuckers.

DID WE FORGET ABOUT CHILD BIRTH!

It’s refreshing to have a change in the way companies are selling items basically 50 percent of humans use on a monthly basis. We were really getting sick of all the fear mongering about leaks and smell.

It still doesn’t change the fact that in the wonderful land downunder, all the ladies down unders, still get slapped with a ‘luxury’ tax for doing the most natural thing ever.

So congratulations to the UK for figuring out women overcome physical hurdles too. Now it’s time for our own country to grow up, get over it and stop taxing lady blood!
