The 2016 Illusion of the Year contest is a real thing. Run by The Neural Correlate Society, the comp aims to blow the mind, distorting the brains construct of reality. Well, this one has well and truly cooked us. Created by Kokichi Sugihar, a professor of engineering at Meiji University in Japan, this illusion only came second.
