WATCH: The Strokes Return With This Bizarre Music Video For ‘Threat of Joy’
The Strokes are back with a new music video for ‘Threat of Joy‘ and it’s batshit bizarre. The single is from the group’s‘Future Present Past‘ EP, the groups first new music in over three long years. According to the clip, the original video was shot for their track ‘Oblivius’ before it mysteriously went missing. It comes after Julian Casablancas told Zane Lowe in an interview earlier this month that the video got too political to release. So this clip alludes to their failed attempts to get it out to the public. Spooky.
