WATCH: Tara Addresses Whether She’ll Be The Next Bachelorette On ‘Studio 10’
As Matty J’s season of The Bachelor came to an underwhelming end last night, it’s obvious the real hero to emerge from the 2017 series was the snag-loving, down-to-earth mega babe Tara.
The nation fell hard for the babysitter from the Gold Coast. She brought some quality banter to the season, so when she was rudely ousted from the reality show in the semi-final, viewers were filthy.
Anger quickly turned into calls for Tara to be the next Bachelorette. It would be so perfect.
Does this mean Tara is The Bachelorette 2018? Because that's all I'm accepting after this. #TheBachelorAU

Tara has appeared on Studio 10 this morn alongside Elise and Florence to set the record straight. When asked whether she would consider being the next Bachelorette, she said she couldn’t see that happening. *SCREAMS*
“I don’t think I have it in me. You’ve got to be pretty tough to let people go. I think it’s easier to be let go, than let other people down. Letting 20 people down isn’t going to be easy,” she said.
“I don’t like upsetting people, and unfortunately you have to upset people, as we saw with Elise last night. It broke my heart to see her upset, and I don’t think that’s something I could do to someone who is a nice person.”
So there goes that dream, folks. Tara is too nice to be our next bachy. Gotta love her.
