WATCH: Teaser Confirms Netflix Spooky Series ‘The OA’ Will Return For A Part Two
Netflix has confirmed that breakout 2016 sci-fi series The OA will be coming back. In a vague teaser, the streaming platform reveals the series return is being called a ‘Part II’ at this stage.
This will come to a surprise to some, given the ending of the first series and how the story was wrapped up for mystery woman Prairie, played incredibly by Brit Marling.
In a recent Q&A with Marling, she elaborated on the idea of a Part II saying, “We always thought of it almost like books, and there could be many different volumes”.
The teaser features some smoke and water, as the name ‘Homer’ can be heard. The video is simply captioned on YouTube: “Something always survives”. I’m sure the internet will be quick to over-analyse exactly what this may mean for the supernatural thrill-fest.
