“Is there a room here that, maybe, someone hasn’t died in?” asks the manager of Cecil Hotel, in a new trailer for Netflix’s true crime special Crime Scene: The Vanishing At The Cecil Hotel.

If that’s not enough to get you hooked, I don’t know what will. The four-episode season will focus on the history of the Los Angeles hotel (aka ‘Hotel Death’), which is referred to as “a place where serial killers let their hair down.” The premises has seen the likes of mass murderers, Richard Ramirez (the Night Stalker) and Jack Unterweger, through its doors.

The hotel was made famous as the setting for American Horror Story’s fifth season and the building is considered haunted by many. This leads us to events of February 19th in 2013, when 21-year-old Elisa Lam disappeared during her stay at the Cecil, before her body was found in a water tank on the hotel’s roof.

In the series, investigators try to uncover what happened during Lam’s final hours by examining CCTV footage from the hotel’s elevator. To say the video is eerie would be an understatement, with some believing that they spotted paranormal activity. Spooky!!

Crime Scene: The Vanishing At The Cecil Hotel drops on Netflix on February 10.
