WATCH: Trailer For New Season Of ‘The X-Files’ Is Here & The World Is Screwed
The world is royally screwed, or so the first trailer for season 11 of The X-Files warns us.
In a teaser released during a New York Comic-Con panel, a voice-over says that civilisation is going to change and in a round-about way, we’re all fucked.
The new series will follow Scully and Mulder as the duo set out to find their son. We see Scully from a hospital bed telling her partner that he has “to find him and you have to stop him before he releases hell on Earth”.
Most excitingly, super fans will spot what appears to be a glimpse of a young Cigarette Smoking Man – a major player in the original series.
Sounds like a tasty mystery and we are all kinds of keen.
The X-Files will return to Fox in 2018 but doesn’t have an Australian release date yet.
