Get ready to be spooked AF. The trailer for interracial horror film Get Out has just been released, and it looks TERRIFYING.

Marking the directorial debut of Jordan Peele of Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, the plot follows interracial couple played by Daniel Kaluuya as Chris, and his white girlfriend Rose played by Girls HBO actress Allison Williams, as the two visit Rose’s parents for the first time.

But there is a big twist at play, and Rose’s all-white family are not what they seem. Black people in the community start to disappear and turn up at the property working for the family, assumedly under some kind of hypnosis.

It looks a little The Stepford Wives mixed with The Help and a whole lotta creep factor.

The film hints at parallels with the state of racial tensions in the United States right now. The major themes present in Get Out are even being described as a telling representation of how scary it can be to be a black man in America.

Get Out will be released in Australia on 4 May, 2017.
