In the day and age where a deceased gorilla can attain votes in a US Federal Election, it is safe to say the power of memes is pretty strong. So strong, in fact, that it seems like everyone wants to get in on the latest viral trend, which happens to be standing still for a very long time while ‘Black Beatles’ plays in the background.

So, in a move that puts them in the running to be the most ‘down with it’ police force in Australia, the WA Police have uploaded their own version of the challenge to their Facebook page and we have to say… it’s pretty freaking awesome.

What’s even better is they’ve challenged basically all of the other state police forces to do the same, so hopefully you can expect to see more freeze-framed law enforcers in the coming weeks.
