Move Bitch, It Looks Like ‘White Chicks’ Is Finally Getting A Sequel
One of the stars of White Chicks has confirmed a sequel is happening and omg, I’m about to have a bitch fit.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Terry Crews, who starred in the film 15 years ago, appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and spilt that he and co-star Shawn Wayans are trying to make a second instalment to the cult comedy.
“You know what, I actually got with Shawn, and he was like man we doing it, we getting it going,” Terry said.
We all know that Terry stole the whole movie as Latrell Spencer, a pro basketball player who falls in love with Marlon Wayans’ character. His performance of Vanessa Carlton’s ‘A Thousand Miles’ really should have won an Academy Award.
Terry admitted he’s been prepping for the film’s comeback for years. “I’ve stayed in shape just for that movie,” he admitted. “I’ve been working out for 15 years so we could do White Chicks 2, y’all.”
This isn’t the first time the idea of a possible sequel has been floated. In March, Marlon Wayans told MTV’s TRL a second film was being discussed.
“I don’t know, but there have been some rumblings happening, and a lot of people want us to do it, so me and my brothers have been talking,” he said. “So if things go right, we hope to do a White Chicks 2.”
This movie has just got to happen or I will be SO FREAKIN’ PISSED.
