Women Are Calling Out Everyday Sexism & Harassment With Sarcastic #NoWomanEver Tweets
Every now and then, Twitter becomes a beautiful place, occupying a rather unique, safe space where women are comfortable and supported to share with other women their daily struggles living within a largely patriarchal social scene.
Right now, ladies are taking to Twitter in their droves to call out their experiences with sexism and sexual harassment, posting sarcastic responses under the hashtag #NoWomanEver.
The trend began from user @ImJustCeej, a 37-year-old woman named CJ from Atlanta, who took to social media tweeting:

From here, more and more women jumped in, posting their experiences with being catcalled, sent unrequited dick pics, or even threatened with rape and abuse.
The hashtag #NoWomanEver is an empowering message, as women share their stories and daily frustrations.
