We’re Giving Away Heaps Of Tickets To Groundbreaking New Flick ‘Words On Bathroom Walls’
See 'Words on Bathroom Walls' in cinemas from December 10.
Teen movies have really levelled up in the last few years. Case in point is Words On Bathroom Walls, a new film that tells the story of young love a little differently.
Words On Bathroom Walls follows the budding romance of main characters Adam (Charlie Plummer) and Maya (Taylor Russell). Importantly, it also tells the story of Adam coming to terms with a schizophrenia diagnosis in his final year of high school. It’s a delicate subject area, but in early reviews, the film has won praise for its sensitive depiction of mental health challenges.
It’s not a movie where Adam is defined by his diagnosis – rather, it’s ultimately an uplifting story of self-discovery with a side of smoochin’. (Also: original music by The Chainsmokers, if that’s your bag.)
Words On Bathroom Walls arrives in cinemas on December 10, with some early screenings from December 4 to 6.
