Last night winter finally came.

After a tortuously long wait, Game of Thrones season seven made it triumphant return and hoeeee boy, there is a lot to digest.

We are saying this now: SPOILERS, SPOILERS, BIG FAT GIANT SPOILERS AHEAD.

You’ve been warned.

So onto the ep. The series kicked off with a scene which appeared to show Lord Walder Frey giving an address to a room of Freys. But obvs not all is what it seems as he is dead, we know this to be so. Nah, it’s in fact Arya taking the form of Frey – using dem skillz acquired from the House of Black and White – and before anyone knows what’s up, the entire room is poisoned and dies a slow and painful death.

HUZZAH.

It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for since the dreaded red wedding episode, and Arya says those special words fans.

What a scene. In mere minutes, our girl Arya avenged the motherfunkin’ red wedding. She is an all-time badass and did it all while proving to h8rs that maybe they should have taken notice of the young Stark, or as she says: “Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe.”

Yaaas guurrl! It was a highlight of the entire series, it sent goosebumps across my entire body and the internet has many feels.

Here’s a summary of the Twittersphere celebrating:

She did the ultimate face-swap and got her sweet revenge.

She gave one HELLEVA speech.

Then she spits straight fire and bloody kills everyone. YOLO.

A well-deserved red wedding sequel, amirite?!

What an all-time boss.

It might be a tad morbid, but really, we should all just applaud…
