Someone On TikTok Spotted A Hilarious Filming Fail In ‘You’

Netflix phenomenon You has finally returned with a new season and the show has never been darker or more enthralling.

In the latest season, Joe (Penn Badgley) is back obsessing over every woman he meets, only this time he has a wife, Love (Victoria Pedretti), and baby at home. Love became pregnant at the end of Season 2, just as Joe found out that his new perfect girlfriend had a murderous streak that could well and truly match Joe’s tendency to kill anyone who threatened his chances at love.

In Season 3, Joe and Love are now married, have welcomed newborn Henry, and have moved to the suburbs. The couple have to contend with befriending a new social circle, adapting to life as parents, keeping their marriage interesting, while trying to remain monogamous to each other — something that doesn’t end up being all that successful for either.

It’s an excellent season, already drawing rave reviews, but that doesn’t mean it’s without flaws. Someone on TikTok has noticed a rather glaring filming fail in one of the show’s scenes. When Love receives a phone call from Joe, his caller ID photo flashes on screen, only it’s definitely not Penn Badgley’s face. “IM LOSING MY MIND???? WHO IS THAT?????? ITS JOEY SILVERBERG,” the caption joked.

What I find the funniest thing about this error is that the person who flashes on Love’s screen does actually look like Joe at first glance. He has a similar smile, eyes, and hairstyle — so the producers clearly put in some effort when choosing him.

If only they put that same energy into simply chucking in a photo that was actually of Joe.
