Part One of You Season 4 dropped on Netflix over the weekend, but fans are not too pleased with the latest instalment.

Netflix’s You is a thriller series that follows Joe (Penn Badgley) on his search for love… which tends to involve a lot of murder. From stalking to homicide, Joe has many issues, and in each season, he seems to get even worse than the last time.

Season 4 Part One quickly picks up from Season 3, after Joe flees the US to Paris then to London. The last season concluded with Joe being presumed dead after his suburban home was burned to the ground with his wife Love (Victoria Pedretti) inside. After faking his death, Joe takes up a new identity in England as Professor Jonathan Moore, but his past has followed him across the globe.

The new season features a brand new cast and new mystery, with Joe being stalked by a serial killer who hunts the rich. Talk about a taste of your own medicine, amirite? While Season 3’s Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) returns briefly, the season welcomes a brand new cast of mostly British characters.

These changes seem to be rocking the boat a little too much for some fans. Some people have shared their displeasure with the new cast, especially Joe’s love interest Kate, played by Fresh Meat actress Charlotte Ritchie. Others are demanding for the return of Love, which we low-key agree with. Love was a chaotic queen!

Here are a bunch of Season 4 reactions from fans of You on Netflix:

*Sigh* Boy, oh boy.

While most fans are bored with this season, there is some light at the end of the tunnel with Part Two coming next month. Hopefully, the new episodes can save Season 4 from being the dullest season of You — fingers crossed it’s mind-blowing.

One fan has tried to defend Season 4 with this iconic tweet, but whether you agree or disagree with the consensus, this show should just give the girlies what they want and bring back Ms. Love to turn up the entertainment.

Part Two of You drops on Netflix on March 9.
